Laurie brings a great deal of experience to the position. Over the last 15 years, she has served long stints as both director and teacher in congregational schools in Franklin, Westborough, and Newton. In those respective roles, she has hired, supervised, and mentored staff, developed curriculum for ages pre-K through high school, as well as taught each of those grades. In addition, she has created dynamic family programming.
Raised in Needham, she earned her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and law degree from Boston College. After some time in law, she returned to her true passion to work in Jewish Education.
In 2006, she received certification in Family Education from Hebrew College.
