Welcome!

Congregation Eitz Chayim (Tree of Life), in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a non-denominational Jewish synagogue and children's Hebrew and religious school. Our warm and welcoming atmosphere appeals to an eclectic blend of individuals and families from conservative, reform, and reconstructionist backgrounds in the greater Boston area -- including Boston, Brookline, Newton, Belmont, Arlington, Somerville, and Watertown.

Eitz Chayim is a diverse temple with many opportunities for learning and meaningful access to Jewish traditions. The cornerstones of our week include lively and interactive Friday night Shabbat services, a Sunday speaker series featuring well-known lecturers on important and intriguing topics, and Hebrew and religious school classes for kids on Wednesdays and Sundays. In addition, we also offer Bar/Bat Mitzvah classes for all ages, child-friendly “Tot Shabbat” services, social action and tzedakah opportunities, adult Hebrew classes for all levels, Torah study, and

Me'ah classes on Jewish texts and history.

Come and explore a new Jewish home with Congregation Eitz Chayim!
