Eitz Chayim Outdoors
Eitz Chayim Outdoors
A campaign to beautify and maximize use of EC’s Outdoor Space
Embedded in urban Cambridge, EC’s outdoor space is one of our major assets, and is ripe for renovation. It has nurtured generations of children in the religious school, annual celebrations of Succoth and other holidays, gatherings and activities. During Covid, it became our sanctuary, as all activities moved outside, demonstrating both the importance and the possibilities of EC Outdoors.
After extensive preliminary exploration, we are entering a process of reimagining our outdoor space to best serve our community with four goals:
1. Accessible children’s play area
2. Outdoor gathering space
3. Beautification of gardens and landscaping
4. Enhanced Security
We began community-wide input at the May 18 Community Meeting, and invite every member to join the upcoming feasibility study.
Please help realize our outdoor dreams by contributing to EC Outdoors!
Every dollar of your contribution will be matched by a generous family fund committed to supporting Jewish infrastructure in Cambridge.
