Holiday Celebrations
Holiday Celebrations
Holiday celebrations at Eitz Chayim are engaging events for the entire community. Rabbi Zelkha helps us rediscover the enchantment of our traditions and rituals, encourages us to discover our own meanings, and invites us to create rich, new experiences.

On the High Holy Days, congregants chant Torah and Haftara, share moving personal prayers, and offer interpretive readings. Anyone and everyone is welcome to blow the shofar.
Our gala second night Seder transforms a traditionally family-focused holiday into a community-wide celebration underneath a desert tent.

While we have highlighted just two of our Eitz Chayim celebrations, we invite you to join for all of the holidays, as we blend traditional ritual with contemporary interpretation and uniquely home-grown creative involvement.
