Rosh Chodesh Group
Rosh Chodesh Group
Note: While EC is closed, we are meeting via Zoom.
Welcome to the Eitz Chayim Rosh Chodesh group! “Rosh Chodesh” means “the beginning of the month.” It is popular as a time for women to come together for community, friendship, and support.
We meet once a month; currently we are meeting virtually on Sunday evenings (usually the fourth Sunday of the month) at 7:00 P.M. Dates and times can be flexible to meet members' schedules. A Zoom link is emailed prior to the meeting.
Members take turns proposing, organizing, and hosting meetings which might include:
Exploring our roots and traditions, in particular as Jewish women,
Participating in an activity, e.g., cooking or writing postcards to get out the vote,
Reading an article and/or discussing a topic of interest, e.g., social and racial justice or resilience.
Attending a Meeting
We use the Rosh Chodesh Google Group to communicate with one another.
If you would like to join the group, please contact Beth Britz at b_britz@hotmail.com and/or Shelley Gross at gross.shelley@gmail.com to be included.
